Physical Therapist

Job Description:
University Orthopaedic Associates, LLC is currently seeking dynamic, hard-working physical therapists to join our growing team in both our Wall and Somerset locations. We are looking for someone of good character, integrity, and who is creative and flexible to work along side our orthopaedic physicians specializing in an array of orthopaedic subspecialties.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in PT is required, but a Master’s or Doctorate in PT is preferred
  • Candidates must have a NJ PT license
  • Full time employment including a couple evenings
  • Athletic Training Certification is a Plus

Position Title:
Occupational Therapy Assistant / COTA

Job Description:
University Orthopaedic Associates, LLC is currently looking for an experienced or newly graduated, hard-working Occupational Therapy Assistant / COTA to join our growing team! Experience with orthopaedic dysfunction is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

The Occupational Therapist Assistant / COTA will work directly under the supervision of a Certified Hand Therapist to provide rehabilitative services for people suffering from physical impairments.

Requirements include:

  • An Associates degree from an accredited school or a certificate from either a community, technical or vocational college.
  • Current state license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant/ COTA or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant / COTA.
  • General knowledge to assist patients with rehabilitative activities and exercises outlined in a treatment plan developed in collaboration with an occupational therapist.
  • The Ability to demonstrate and articulate sound clinical reasoning in treatment planning, implementation and monitoring of patient's progress.

Position Title:
Part Time Clerical Position

Job Description:
Medical Records/Insurance part-time floaters needed for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 9:00 – 5:00. Duties will include scanning documents into our EMR system as well as various clerical duties.

Prestigious Orthopaedic group seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant for a state-of-the-art facility working in a team approach with the Physical therapy staff. Population is completely orthopaedic, with sports and general ortho as the primary caseload. Candidate should have current NJ licensure. Duties include assisting Physical Therapists in all aspects of patient care. Position reports to the Director of Physical Therapy.
