Dr. Charles Gatt, an expert in sports medicine with extensive experience in youth sports injuries and a founding member of STOP Sports Injuries, was featured in the Courier News on September 18. In a Q&A interview, he discussed his views on a recent study. The Study, published in The American Journal of Sports Medicine on July 23, found that sought athletes who practiced sports-specialization had about a 50 percent increased risk of having an injury.
