Karin Peterson received her undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Physical Therapy (MSPT) and Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School (formerly UMDNJ). Karin has an extensive background in orthopaedic and sports physical therapy with an emphasis on manually based techniques. She is an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) and a Certified Integrated Manual Therapist (CIMT). Since 2011, Karin has also been an adjunct faculty member at Rutgers University in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program.

Karin started her career at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in 2002 working in both the outpatient and in-patient settings. Since that time, she has been able to work within different orthopaedic and sports therapy settings developing her manual and collaborative skills.

Karin is originally from the Pittsburgh area and moved to Long Valley, NJ when she was young. For over ten years, Karin was a high school girls’ basketball and softball coach. She ran the Boston Marathon 5 times to raise money for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. In addition to running, Karin enjoys playing golf, working out and spending time with her family and friends.
