Ryan graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science, then went on to receive his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from New York Medical College in 2008. Ryan has worked with our Director, Dino Pinciotti, PT, for the better part of eight years prior to attending New York Medical College. During this time, Ryan discovered his passion for outpatient orthopaedics and sports medicine.
Ryan has 10 years of clinical experience in the outpatient physical therapy setting and enjoys working with various pathologies and impairments while taking an eclectic approach to his patient’s rehabilitation. Ryan believes in listening closely to each patient and tailoring their treatment to their goals as well as his objective findings. He also believes in close communication with his patients and feels each individual should have input in their own rehabilitation. He treats all pathologies but does enjoy working with the shoulder and upper extremity.
Ryan is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and stays up to date with the latest evidence-based treatments through journal reviews and continuing educations seminars, with emphasis on manual therapy. Ryan plans to take his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification, as well as become certified in manual-based treatments. He works closely with local physicians, athletic trainers and other disciplines in order to restore health and wellness to his patients.
In his spare time, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, cooking and playing golf.
