Timothy M. Hosea, MD – Sports Medicine & Arthroscopic Surgery

In Memoriam

University Orthopaedic Associates deeply mourns the loss of our colleague and friend, Dr. Timothy Hosea. Dr. Hosea was a key member of our practice—a widely-respected and accomplished orthopaedist with special expertise in sports medicine. He was also an extremely caring and compassionate physician to scores of patients, his teams, and the entire community. His vital contribution to our practice is matched by a passion for his profession. Among his accomplishments, he served as Team Physician for the USRowing national team at 12 world rowing championships, and most recently, was the U.S. Olympic Team Physician for the rowing and athletic teams at the London Games in 2012. Locally, he was the Orthopaedic Consultant and Team Physician for Rutgers University. He is survived by his wife and their three daughters. Dr. Hosea will be greatly missed by all who were privileged to know and work with him.
